Zander Ward Missing – Update: Body of missing teenager located

Zander Ward Missing – Body found – Death – Obituary – Deputies said the body of a missing person has been discovered.

According to report 18-year-old Zander Benjamin Ward who was reported missing has been located deceased.

Thursday, October 28, 2021, Shortly after 3:00 pm, the Front Royal Police Department, Warren County Sheriff’s Office, and Warren County Fire Rescue personnel responded to the 3900 block of Guard Hill Road after family and community members helping in the search, believed they had located Zander Ward unresponsive in a wooded area off the roadway.

Zander Ward, who had been reported missing since Monday, October 25th, was found deceased.

At this time, there is no evidence of foul play and Front Royal Police detectives will be awaiting findings from the Medical Examiner’s office.

Earlier: Authorities and the mother of 18-year-old Zander Benjamin Ward are growing increasingly worried for his welfare.

Report say he left on foot with only his phone and has not contacted any friend or family. Someone last saw him walking over the 1st bridge out of town Monday, October 25 afternoon.

He is wearing a gray hoodie and black adidas pants.

His mom said they have reason to be very worried about him. He has never done this before. His phone is not turned on.
