22-year-old Yasmin Takiah Evans, 24-year-old Taylor Alize Lipscomb Ashley, 30-year-old Jonathan William Upchurch, of Rockford, Illinois and 30-year-old Zane Lee Schure, of Fort Collins have been identified as the four people that died in a two-car accident that happened on Saturday morning, October 30, 2021 in Weld County.
Evans and Ashley were senior airmen with the F.E. Warren Air Force Base near Cheyenne.
According to the Colorado State Patrol, Evans was driving a Honda with Ashley as her only passenger around 2:35 a.m. on U.S. Highway 85 near the Wyoming border when a 2015 Jeep Cherokee driven by Upchurch with Schure as passenger crossed into the path of the Honda and crashed into it killing the four occupants of both cars on the spot.
Investigation into the cause of the crash is still ongoing.
