Woman injured in Oakland’s Fox Theatre shooting

A woman was shot and injured in front of Oakland’s Fox Theatre Wednesday, according to Oakland police.

Detectives say the unidentified woman was injured by a stray bullet at about 2:30 p.m. as a crowd was waiting for the popular Rock group “All Time Low” performance, which was scheduled to take place today. The concert has been suspended due to the incident.

Investigation shows the shooting stemmed up from a possible car-jarking, leading to the suspect and the owner exchanging shots. About 10 or 15 shots were heard fired from the scene, reports say.

This is a developing story.
