William Henry Dyer Sr. Death – Cause of Death – Authorities reported that three people died at a home in Amador County last week in a murder-suicide, and also identified the three deceased as family members.

Deputies have found the body of a woman on the porch and two men inside — at a residence in the 21000 block of Homestead Road in Pine Grove, where gunshots were fired last Wednesday evening.

Sheriff-coroner’s officials released their names as William Henry Dyer Sr., 75; William Henry Dyer Jr., 46; and Cheryl Dyer, 77 all from the same family.

Dyer Sr.’s death has been categorized as a suicide according to Amador County Sheriff’s Office in a news.

“The investigation has shown that this incident started as a family dispute between a father and his son,” sheriff’s officials wrote. Cheryl Dyer’s relationship to Dyer Sr. and Dyer Jr. was not specified.

Neighbors have called the Cops around 7 p.m. reporting that they heard gunshots, in the house. The Sheriff’s Office said in a statement last week.

The incident was confirmed by a  45-year-old woman, who told arriving deputies that she “witnessed her 46-year-old boyfriend shoot his father at the residence,”
