William Harvey missing – Have you seen 31-year-old Harvey William missing from Edinburgh City Centre?

An urgent missing person appeal has been issued for 31-year-old William Harvey, who has been reported missing from the Edinburgh City Centre.

Police are concerned for the safety of the missing man was last seen in Edinburgh City Centre around 3pm on Monday, October 11, 2021, and want to locate him as soon as possible.

Since the sudden disappearance of Harvey, nobody has seen or heard from him which has kept his family worried about his state.

William Harvey’s description

Harvey is described as a white male, 5ft 8ins tall, of medium build, and has short dark brown hair.


He was wearing a black body warmer, green camouflage tracksuit, black cap and grey trainers.

Where is William Harvey?

According to Chief Inspector Sarah Taylor, of Drylaw Police Station,” Mr Harvey has numerous friends and associates in the East of Scotland, and is known to frequent Edinburgh, Fife and Tayside. However, it’s not like him to be out of touch with family and friends for this length of time and therefore there is concern for his well-being.” So Harvey might be in one of this areas, though we are not sure.

He added that, “Officers are checking CCTV and local transport hubs in an effort to trace him but are keen to hear from anyone who knows where he is and anyone who he may have been in contact with.

“We would also appeal to Mr Harvey himself to get in contact with police to let us know he is okay.

“Anyone with information should contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 3681 of 11/10/2021, or make a call anonymously to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
