4 teens killed, one other injured following car accident in Prowers County
Four teens have reportedly be killed and one airlifted to the hospital following injuries suffered in a two-vehicle accident involving a car and semi-truck which occurred in Prowers County, Colorado on Wednesday night.
According to report, the collision happened at the intersection of Highway 287 and Prowers County Road 196, outside of the town of Wiley. The semi was reportedly towing a a boat when the two vehicles collided.
The four teens, a 16-year-old driver and three passengers ages 16, 15 and 14 were confirmed dead at the scene of the crash. While the one of the survivors was airlifted to Colorado Springs hospital .
The driver of the semi-truck suffered minor injuries.
