Viney, Richard F. death – obituary, cause of death : Viney, Richard F 52, of Belleville. Has been declared dead. He passed away peacefully on Monday 28th of June, 2021.

Richard was born on September 12th 1937, to Paul A. and Millie R. (Colney) Viney. He attended and graduated from Belleville High School in 1955. He then proceeded to trade school to become an electrician. He was a member of the 115th Air Guard.

The Belleville graduate met Ruth Ann Buesser of New Glarus. They got married on October 7th 1959 and decided they both wanted to start a family. He was a proud member of the Local 159 IBEW, retiring after 32 years of active service for the state of Wisconsin.

The 52 years old was its first deputy head of chambers and was repeatedly re-elected, staying in the post even as he served as deputy district judge for the West Midlands and being a barrister member of the Civil Procedure Rule Committee.

In a statement, released by his chambers, read “Richard was ‘undoubtedly’ on the cusp of taking silk and was unanimously and deeply loved by all members and staff”.

‘He was a wonderful gentle, kind, modest and selfless man with a brilliant mind and a big heart who gave his all to chambers throughout his many years with us,’ the statement said.

‘He was a father, an uncle, brother to others, and a son to the more senior members who nurtured him in his early years. Pressure always seemed to dissipate when Richard was there. His death leaves an unfillable void in all of our lives.’

He is survived by his beloved wife, children, Julie (Ed Klitzke) and Jeff (Laura); grandchildren, William, Hailey (Kirbe) French and Julian; brother, Floyd (Charlotte); sisters, Elaine Worringer and Marybelle (Kenneth) Helgestad; sisters-in-law, Annabelle Acker and Myrna Viney; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 3, at the BECKER-BEAL FUNERAL HOME, 109 Greenway Cross, Belleville, WI. Burial will be in St. Raphael’s Frenchtown Cemetery, Belleville, WI.

A visitation will precede the funeral service from 12 noon until the time of services on Saturday, July 3, at the BECKER-BEAL FUNERAL HOME in Belleville.
