Tymeah James missing – Have you seen Sacramento teen, Hiram Johnson High School student, Tymeah James?

Yolanda Holmes the mother of 16-year-old Tymeah James who has been missing for over 4 days now
cries out for help in finding her daughter on social media.

The teenager reportedly went missing on Friday, September 4, 2021, at about 12:00pm, but according to a Walmart worker, who had helped her in the self-check out line, she was seen on Saturday, September 25, 2021, at their Folsom Boulevard lvd and Zinfandel Road location in Rancho Cordova.

She is a black female, of slim build.

She was last seen wearing a crop-top sweatshirt and blue ripped jeans. Pictured on the sweatshirt is Angelica, a cartoon character from the Nickelodeon show, The Rugrats.

What is Sacramento police doing about the missing girl?

According to Holmes the police were indifferent after a one hour search as they told her “good luck”

“My daughter has been missing for four days,” said Holmes. “The school has been a great help. The community has been helpful, my church has been helpful. Pretty much everyone, except for the police department, has been helpful.”

“It seemed like they didn’t care, to me,” said Holmes. “Because we’re African American, they don’t care, because ([if not]) she would have been on the news already.”

The Sacramento Police Department in defense, confirmed they received a report was filed on Sept. 24.

Sacramento Police Department public information officer, Carl Chen, said “This is this is an active missing persons case and it’s been an active missing persons case from the beginning and we’ve had patrol officers following up on leads all the way to our detectives.”

“This is not like my daughter. She is a straight-A student. She works, she goes to school, she’s on the cheer team, and she praises our church,” said Holmes.
