Two Devils Lake killed, one flown to hospital following Hunter, N.D. three-vehicle accident
Authorities have released the identities of the victims that died in a fatal three-car crash near Hunter, N.D.
The officials stated that the accident took place on Saturday Sept. 25, on Highway 18, two miles south of Hunter.
According to preliminary report, Amy Marie Ulmer, 39, of Wheatland, N.D. was driving a 2021 Chevy Suburban north was trying to make a left turn into a private driveway when she was hit by a 2020 Chevy Silverado driven by Jason Alleyn Olsonoski, 43, of Moorhead, Minn.
The impact of the crash caused the Suburban to move into the southbound lane, and crash with a 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe, driven by Richard Duane Nelson, 82, and Marilyn Kaye Sandbeck, 69, as passenger, coming towards that direction.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol reported to the scene and pronounced Nelson and Sandbeck both of Devils Lake dead at the scene.

Agencies that responded to the incident were the North Dakota Highway Patrol, Cass County Sheriff’s Department, Hunter Ambulance, FM Ambulance, Hunter Fire Department and Sanford AirMed.
According to the police, All the victims of the crash were wearing seat belt during the crash.
Olsonoski sustained minor injuries.
Ulmer and her passengers; two girls, 8 and 5 were all injured. One of the girls sustained fatal injuries and was flown to Sanford Hospital in Fargo.
The crash remains under investigation byt the officials.
