Two teenage boys were discovered dead on Wednesday inside a property in Melrose,As reported by the family and the Putnam County Sheriff’s office.
The decedent family confirmed to News4jax that they were of age 12 and 14.
According to the report made by A man who introduced himself as the decedent grandfather,the boy’s mother was said to be sleeping in the inner room of the home along Shiloh road,and she woke to find her son’s bodies and immediately ran to his apartment close by.he further reported that his wife put a call through to 911 for help as he went back with his daughter to her apartment.
He said he tried resuscitating the boys ,who happened to be stabbed but all effort proved abortive.
Deputies stated that when they arrived shortly after 10:30 a.m on Wednesday,they discovered the boys body and the two people who were unharmed.
Investigations have been carried out and the case is seen as double homicide,”the Sheriff’s office reported.”this is said to be an isolated incident with no environmental threat”.
