Glenn County two-vehicle accident- Authorities have reported a fatal accident that claimed the lives of two men and injured three persons including children, on August 23.
The CHP reported that the head-on incident happened on Highway 45, just south of Highway 162 in Glenn County.
The preliminary report revealed that a Ford Explorer driven by Caldwell, Idaho, northbound was heading on Highway 45 when he veered off and crash head-on with Chevy Malibu on the southbound lane.
Authorities pronounced the Idaho man and Hamilton City man, driving the Malibu dead at the scene.
The identities of the deceased a not disclosed yet by the officials, pending notification of next of kin.
The officials revealed that three passengers of the Ford, a 35-year-old woman, an 8-year-old boy, and a 10-year-old boy, sustained unserious injuries and were all moved to local hospital for treatment.
All the passengers of the Ford are from Caldwell, Idaho, according to report.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
