Authorities said two men have been arrested after they reportedly opened fire on Saginaw café leaving a man injured.

At about 12:30 p.m. Saginaw Police Officer Brandon Jebb was heading westbound on Court Street during a routine patrol when he saw gunshots being fired from a vehicle toward Annie Mae’s Internet Café, 1220 Court St. Jebb pursued the vehicle and as he closed in, two males fled from it on foot near Andre and Ames streets.

Additional officers responded along with a K9.

The two suspects was arrested.

Officers also recovered a pistol believed to have been used in the shooting.

A male inside the café suffered a gunshot wound to his foot and was taken to Covenant HealthCare for treatment.

Police believe the wounded man was not the shooters’ intended target and was only a patron of the business.

Police do not believe there are additional suspects at large.
