Timothy Corfield Missing – Where is missing South Lanarkshire man,Timothy Corfield who travelled to the Highlands?
Man who is believed to have travelled to the Highlands has been reported missing.
Authorities are worried about his safety and have announced to the public that they are in need of help in locating the 49-year-old.
Timothy Corfield was last seen when brought to light his plans of going out of Thortonhall. He reportedly said he was to travel to the White Sands area of Morar and then Fort William, on Wednesday.
Sources say the 49-year-old actually travelled to Queen Street Station in Glasgow, at about 10am, and was at the Mallaig train station, that same Wednesday, at about, 5.35pm,
Description of Timothy Corfield:
He is approximately 6ft tall and is of a large build, with grey/white hair and he wears glasses.
He was last seen wearing a navy blue puffa jacket, navy blue chino trousers and brown brogue-type shoes and is believed to have a rucksack with him.
Authorities are worried about his safety and are concerned about his safety, hence are working with transport providers to provide information about the movements of Timothy, as confirmed by Inspector Gordon Millar.
The inspector said, “This behaviour is out of character for Timothy and we are working to trace his current whereabouts.
“As part of this we are liaising with transport providers and train companies as we believe Timothy took the train from Queen’s Street on Wednesday, 1 September, and then was in Mallaig station later that evening. We are keen to establish where he went since leaving the station.
Timothy Corfield is believed to be around Mallaig and Morar, either camping or hiking, so authorities have asked the occupants of that area to look out for the 49-year-old.
