Three fire engines respond to M4 crash

According to reports, Emergency service vehicles trooped to the scene of a crash on the M4 on Monday morning. Troops from Swindon, Westlea and Royal Wootton Bassett’s fire stations responded to calls about the collision at 8.05am. The crash was between a transit van and a car westbound at Junctions 16 and 17.

Fire engine crews ensured the scene was safe using help from officers and ambulance crews who took care of the the sad incident caused by the accident. Officials closed one lane from 8:20 AM while they recovered the damaged vehicles the road was later re-opened so traffic became normal again at about 10am.
