Tennessee newlyweds, Lillian Rose and Jessiah Plemons killed on I-40car accident in Knoxville

25-year-old Lillian Rose, of Maryville, Tennessee and 31-year-old Jessiah Plemons, both of Tennessee and 23-year-old Madison Davis, of Knoxville, Tennessee have lost their lives in a two-car accident that around 3 a.m. on Sunday, October 17, 2021.
According to authorities, Rose and Plemons, who had only been married for two days and Davis were travelling in a Dodge pickup on Interstate 40 in Knoxville when their car ran into a guardrail. The trio then came out the Dodge and stood beside the car when an oncoming Chevrolet truck struck and struck the three of them and their car.
The three sustained serious injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash after succumbing to their injuries. Meanwhile, the Chevrolet driver sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital to treatment.
The victims from the fatal crash that occurred on the exit ramp from I-40 West to Weisgarber Road early Sunday morning have been identified. The victims were positively identified as Jessiah Plemons, 31 of Lenoir City, Tennessee, Lillian Rose, 25 of Maryville, Tennessee, and Madison Davis, 23 of Knoxville, Tennessee.
At this time, the circumstances of the crash remain under active investigation by KPD crash reconstruction investigators.
