18-year-old boy dies on Great Thirkleby two-vehicle accident
On Monday morning, a teenage lost his life a fatal motorcycle accident on the A19 near Thirsk.
According to report, the accident which involved a white KTM motorcycle and a grey Seat Terraco took place around 6.20 a.m. on the A19 between Great Thirkleby and Carlton Husthwaite.
The preliminary report revealed that the 18-year-old boy was driving his motorcycle down when he was crushed by a vehicle.
The officials pronounced the teen dead at the scene. His identity was not released by the officials pending notification of next of kin.
The driver and the passenger of the car sustained minor injuries and were transported to hospital for treatment.
