Suzanne Lyall Missing – What happened to the New York State University student missing for over 23 years?

Suzanne Lyall was 19 year-old in 1998 when she went missing. According to report, she was said to have been seen last at a mall close to her dorm in the State University of New York at Albany.

What happened to Suzanne Lyall?

The question what happened to Suzanne cannot be fully answered at this time as she is still considered a missing person.

However, what we know is that she was said to have been on her way to her hostel in the the State University of New York at Albany but never made it there.

Multiple sources say on March 2nd, 1998, Suzanne left her work place at the Babbage’s in Crossgates Mall in the nearby suburb of Westmere and took a bus back to the university but never made it to her hostel in the university and has been missing since then.

The family of Suzanne along with her friends and loved ones have done all they can over the years to find her but all efforts have proved fruitless.

According to sources, the ATM card of the 19 year-old was used a day after she went missing at a local store in the city. The ATM transaction which was charged $20 was traced to a man which after investigation, was out listed as a suspected in the case.

However, Suzanne’s then boyfriend remains a suspect in the case of her disappearance. He was said to have refused to cooperate with the police at the early stage of her disappearance.

Suzzane has now been missing for 23 years and her case still remains unsolved.

Recently, an age progressed picture was released of how the now 43 year-old woman might be looking like. This picture was released by the police as they believe it will help in the case.

The 19 year-old was described as a White female who was of medium build. She was said to have hazel eyes and long brown fringe hair.

No distinctive features were given.

Israel Keyes relation to the case:

According to a tweet by the Unfound Podcast, Israel has now been named as a person of interest in the case of Suzanne.

According to Israel Wikipedia, “He admitted to violent crimes as early as 1996, with the violent sexual assault of a teenage girl in Oregon, in a spree that lasted until his capture in 2012. In December 2012, Keyes died by suicide while awaiting trial for the murder of Samantha Koenig. The FBI believes he killed at least 11.”
