Antonio Parra Death – Obituary : Authorities said a suspect has been charged in connection to a double fatal shooting that occurred last month in Long Beach.
Efren Abril,22, was indicted Wednesday with two counts murder and one count each of ex-felon with a firearm and ex-felon in possession of live ammunition in the fatal shooting of Antonio Parra and Brian Gomez.
According to Long Beach police, detectives do not believe Abril knew the victims the deadly shooting.
Abril was reportedly in custody in an Orange County jail on an unrelated charge when the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office filed charges against him in the murders of Parra and Gomez, police disclosed.
Authorities said the fatal incident happened on the 5th Aug. at the East Anaheim Street and Locust Avenue.
Responding officers located the two victims with gunshot wounds. They were transported to an area hospital, where they succumbed to their injuries, reports states.
Police said, Abril will be transferred to the Long Beach City Jail, where he will be booked on $4.05 million bail.
