Sri Lanka Rugby legend Chandrishan Perera dead – cause of death-Obituary

According to reports, Sri Lanka Rugby veteran Chandrishan Perera passed away yesterday’s evening due to Parkinson’s disease in Negombo after being hospitalized. His name is a household name in Sri Lanka Rugby circle, he was an ex Sri Lanka rugby team captain, coach, fitness guide, journalist a strong supporter of the Mora Spirit Senior Advisory Committee.

We sympathize with football fans, friends and blessed of Mr. Chandrishan, this event will indeed weigh everyone down. He was a smart player on the wing, played domestic cricket and became the captain of the Fiji Sevens Championship team in 1994.

According to reports, the country is saddened by the unfortunate situation of Sri Lanka’s recognize rugby legend, but he was full of  fighting spirit.
