The Pittsburgh Police say a male was critically wounded Monday night following shooting in Homewood.

The victim was located while responding to a ShotSpotter alert at the 7100 block of Frankstown Avenue at about 10:55 p.m.

Authorities are yet to disclose the identity of the male victim.

Police said he is in a stable condition and is expected to survive, reports said.

Authorities say MCU is at the scene and investigating the incident. No arrest has been made.
