Sharon Mahan Obituary – Death, Sharon Mahan Funeral
Sharon Kay Mahan, the eldest daughter of Floyd and Roberta (Aseltine) Hinkle, entered this life on December 2,1944 and exited this life on December 25, 2021.
Born in Lansing, Michigan to a naval family, she was a homemaker, avid quilter, involved in many church activities, and worked in medical office settings before her retirement. She also enjoyed traveling with her family.
Most especially, she enjoyed the time spent with her children and her grandchildren, friends and church family.
She is survived by three sons: The eldest, Wayne Maurice Becnel, Jr., and his husband, Jonathan M. Gutierrez, of Denver, Colorado. Secondly, Brian Paul Becnel and his husband, Kevin Kriegel, of Orlando, Florida. Brian has three daughters: Corinne (and Zebakiah) Bortner and their daughter Beatrice Aurelia. Emily (and Connor) Ericson and their son, Oliver Brian. Amelia (and Cody) Parker. Lastly, Timothy Andrew Becnel and his wife Bridgette, of Marrero, Louisiana. Tim and Bridgette have three children: Ronald James (and Jenny) Becnel and their daughter, Aurora Marie. Son Preston Becnel and daughter Angel Becnel. She is also survived by several brothers and sisters, nieces, and nephews.
Remains have been cremated and the family requests in lieu of flowers, if you wish, memorial gifts may be given to WWW.LOVE146.ORG
