Sean Crawley Dies On Regent Street Car Accident in Sheffield City Centre

Sean Crawley Death – Obituary : 58-year-old Sean Crawley passed away after he was struck by a car around 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, August 22 on Regent Street in Sheffield City Centre.

According report, Crawley was struck by a black Vauxhall Insignia that fled the scene immediately without stopping to render assistance to the injured

Following the car accident, Crawley sustained serious injuries and was transported to the hospital where passed away on Tuesday, September 21.

In connection with the crash, a 24-year old man was was apprehended on on suspicion of serious motoring offences but had been released under investigation.

According to Deirdre, the deceased sister, “In his own quiet way, Sean lived an amazing life”. “After overcoming cancer, in 1986 he rowed across the Atlantic Ocean from Gran Canaria to Guyana with his friend Michael Nestor, at that time the youngest rowers to do that, and in 1988 after building his own boat, he rowed solo across the Atlantic in the other direction, from Halifax, Nova Scotia to Clifden in Ireland, and became the youngest solo rower to do that.

“He has also walked, solo, from John O’Groats to Land’s End.
