Scott Rockefeller Missing – Death of Kearney County man missing since June 2020.

Scott Rockefeller, 30 year-old at the time he reported missing has now been found dead. He was said to have been seen last on June 29th 2020 in the rural Kearney County in the area of 29 Road.

Multiple sources say the 30 year-old was believed to have gone for a ride with his dog in his vehicle which was given as a Silver 2014 Nissan Altima Sedan, 4 door with license plate NE 9E3775.

Scott Rockefeller search:

Police carried out extensive search in the area after Scott was reported missing. Areas where he was last seen were searched over the past year.

The police also asked the help of the public in finding Scott as his family were worried sick about his disappearance.

Scott Rockefeller description:

The 30 year-old was described as a White male who is approximately 5’11” feet tall and weighs about 150 pounds. He has short length red/auburn hair and brown eyes.

Distinctive features were given as multiple tattoos.

Scott Rockefeller found dead:

Multiple sources said on Tuesday, September 28th 2021, the police attention was called to a vehicle that was found submerged in an irrigation reuse pit near Highway 10 which is roughly three miles south of Minden.

The Law enforcement officials with the Nebraska State Patrol (NSP) and the Kearney Police Department were able to pull out the vehicle and a body of a man was found in it along with a dog.

Police believes the bodies found is related to the case of Scott Rockefeller who has been missing since 2020.

Scott Rockefeller death:

The body is yet to be confirmed to be that of Scott but the police believes so. An autopsy is to be carried out to determine the actual cause of death of Scott.

Formal identification is to be carried out.
