Saskatoon police investigate shooting in front of school

The Saskatoon Police Service is probing a shooting incident that happened on Friday afternoon.
Officials received a a shots fired reports at about 2:30 p.m. in the 200 block of Northumberland Avenue, police said.

Arriving officers officers found evidence of gun fire.

SPS an armed man was arrested at Avenue Y and 33rd Street.

No one was hurt and investigation is ongoing.

The incident took place in front of a school, which was placed into lockdown as a precaution.
