1 dead, 4 others injured in multi-vehicle collision 

A fatal four-vehicle collision that took place on Sunday, September, 5th, 2021 on Highway 1 between Golden and Revelstoke in British Columbia, Canada has claimed the life of one driver, leaving four others including two children hurt.

Golden Royal Canadian Mounted Police responded to the collision involving pickup truck and motor home around 8 a.m. on Sunday.

According to eye witnesses, the accident occurred when a red pickup travelling eastbound left the eastbound lane into the westbound lane and collided with a motor home which led in collisions involving an eastbound pickup towing a travel trailer and a westbound semi-truck.

A 48-year-old man from Saskatchewan who was the driver of the red pickup,  was confirmed dead at the scene while two of his passengers; a woman and child were hospitalized with serious injuries.

Meanwhile, the motorhome driver was airlifted to hospital, while a child passenger was  transported by land to hospital. Both sustained serious injuries.

The occupants of the pick-up with the trailer and the semi-truck were not hurt.
