San Diego man shot by wife at Safari Park

San Diego Police Department says a man was taken to the hospital, after being shot in the leg by his wife at Safari Park Sunday afternoon.

Officials responded to the 15500 San Pasqual Valley Road in Escondido at about 4:43 p.m. on shots fired report. Officials were told that the man and his wife were involved in an altercation when the wife shot him.

The unidentified man was transported to the hospital in undisclosed condition.
