Roger M. Ohlinger, 83, of New Kensington, formerly of Harmar, passed away at home Friday, Jan. 7, 2022. He was born Nov. 11, 1938, and had been a longtime resident of the community. Mr. Ohlinger served in the Navy for 20 years before his discharge and then worked as a radiological technician for ITLS before retiring.He was of the Catholic faith and enjoyed reading, hunting, fishing, woodworking and especially spending time with his family. Surviving him are his son Ronald, (Celeste) Faulkner, of the Philippines; daughter Barbra Agerton (David) Brownfield, of New Kensington; seven grandchildren, Ginger (Frank) Howard, Michael (Jackie) Terranova, Melissa (Josh) Beerworth, Morgan (Brittany) Faulkner, Shiloh Faulkner, Roni Faulkner and Sofia Faulkner; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Scott Ohlinger, in 1992. Services and interment are private for his immediate family and he will be laid to rest in Deer Creek Cemetery beside his wife. Arrangements by THE CHARLES B.
