Robert Wyles Missing – Officers have ended the searching for 80-year-old man reportedly missing in Ontario as he has been found dead on Tuesday.
Toronto, Ontario Ca. – Investigators on Tuesday ended the search for 80-year-old Robert Wyles, who has been missing on Thursday after going boating on Lake Ontario in Oakville as his body has been reportedly found in the water.
According to reports, Halton Regional Police was called at about 10:30 a.m. of a body found in the water, which was later confirmed to be that of the a Durham resident, Robert Wyles, who was reportedly missing on August 26, 2021.
Police in a statement said “The HRPS would like to extend our sincerest condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Wyles, and thank the public for their assistance in the search”.
Robert Wyles was allegedly reported to the police as missing on August 26, 2021 at about 6 p.m. from Lake Ontario near the month of Sixteen Mile Creek, where he was seen boarding the boat alone and leaving the harbor at just around 12:30 p.m., however whether or not he was wearing a life jacket at the time of his departure is still not confirmed.
