A fatal vehicle crash that happened at 38th Avenue North and Highway 17 Bypass in Horry County, S.C. has claimed the life of “Rik” Dickinson, 74, the CEO of Encore Video Production.

The Authorities stated that the incident happened on Sunday, 8th August 2021 on Myrtle Beach.

Dickinson was the president of Encore Video Production that was formed in 1980, for 40 years before his death.

Prior to his death, he won many awards for his work of which one of them was the “Best News Film of the Year” in 1973 and he equally served on the board of the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce.

It was also gathered from his LinkedIn page that he joined WTVN-TV in Columbus, Ohio as a director, news reporter / cameraman, film editor, commercial production cameraman, and lighting director.

The cause of his crash is still under investigation by the Myrtle Beach Police
