Richard A. Hudon death – obituary, cause of death : Richard Hudon 76, of Battle Creek, has died. He passed away at the VA Medical Center on Tuesday May 24, 2011.
Richard was born on October 28th 1934 in Battle Creek to Antoine J. and Helen J. (Jevnem) Hudon. He attended and graduated from St. Philip High School in 1952, he then enlisted into the United State Air Force and served for 21 years as a Master Sergeant, he retired in 1973.
The veteran was a much-loved character who touched the lives of so many with his big heart, wisdom and greatness, His pleasures were simple, His needs were few. If his family was happy, He was too. He gave us love in the fullest measure, Care, devotion and memories to treasure. He shared our dreams, hopes and tears.
He was a loving husband who was best known for his infectious sense of humor and making everyone laugh. he was greatly admired for his athletic abilities in school and he passed his love and passion for sports down to all his children
He had a funny and unique personality and was never afraid to show it and his friends loved that about him. He was described by his friends as someone who was always ready for a laugh.
He is survived by his brother, Antoine J. “Tony” Hudon Jr., of Battle Creek, sisters, Helen “June”, Julia Ann Mascho, of CA; Yvonne E. Alcorn, and any nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jerome Hudon.
Cause of death:
The circumstances surrounding the death of Richard A. Hudon was not made pubic as at the time of writing this report.
Graveside services will be held 10am Friday May 27, 2011 at Ft. Custer National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to American Cancer Society or charity of one’s choice. Arrangements are by the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home.
