Portion of Interstate 10 on Northwest Side closed after woman hit, killed
Eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 at De Zavala Road, between UTSA Boulevard and Fredericksburg Road are expected to remain closed for a few hours as authorities investigate the scene.
A woman was fatally struck on Monday, Oct. 25, 2021, on the main lanes of eastbound Interstate 10 at De Zavala Road. Some part of Interstate 10 on the Northwest Side has been closed this Monday morning following a fatal accident that killed a woman.
San Antonio police reported that the woman was struck and killed by a hit-and-run- driver at about 4 a.m. on the major lanes of eastbound Interstate 10 at De Zavala Road. She was recovered and pronounced dead on the scene, the pedestrian had no identification with her, she’s yet to be officially identified.
