Sister Frances Antoinette died in Philadelphia car crash

A fatal car crash at Academy and Morrell, Philadelphia has led to the dead of Sister Frances Antoinette of Archbishop Ryan High School.

Report is it that the fatal car crash that led to the death of the  80-year-old Sister took place on Thursday, August 5, 2021, around 2:30 p.m. at the intersection of Academy and Morrell roads.

Authorities say Sister Antoinette was struck by a PECO vehicle as she was attempting to cross the intersection. She sustained life threatening injuries and was transported to Jefferson-Torresdale Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

In a statement released by Archbishop Ryan High School he described her as a “remarkable  dedicated and dedicated woman”

“We are heartbroken to share the news that Sister Frances Antoinette died suddenly today in a tragic accident.

She was a remarkable woman who dedicated her life to God, the community, and the students of Archbishop Ryan.
