Patrick Thaidy, a 60 year-old has declared missing from Macquarie Hills late last year still missing.
Patrick Thaidy disappeared from his home in Macquarie Hills late last year and has since not been seen or heard from. To mark National Missing Persons Week, his family is repeating an appeal for information that could help solve the mystery of his disappearance.
The 60 year-old was last seen in his home on Delasala Drive about midnight on December 6.
Dianne Dodd, Patrick’s niece who is currently running a Facebook page that is themed ‘Bring Patrick Thaidy Home’, told the Newcastle Herald that the 60 year-old was a father-of-four, a former Australian boxing champion and has been missed dearly.
“He is a loving, gentle man,” Ms Dodds said, He has three sons and a daughter who are worried sick, I just want him back home with his family, safe where he belongs.”
On December 6th 2020, He was then captured on CCTV footage on Macquarie Road at Cardiff about 9.25am.
The 60 year-old is described as being Aboriginal / Torres straight Islander appearance. He is about 175cm tall, has medium built and has short black and grey hair and brown eyes.
