“I am so devastated for the family and friends of Patrick Price. I was just talking with Pat on the dock behind his boat it feels like yesterday. I am most hurt for his Wife and Son. That boy will need the community to help fulfill what Pat had in mind for his son. It’s beyond words …..
I feel compelled to share this post Patrick put up on his sons first day of school this year. May God rest his soul and comfort his family. RIP Pat!”

It’s so sad Jerry! The community lost a true fishing legend and a great man. I had the privilege to fish with him on a charter once, and I was proud to see and learn from one of the best at it!

Jerry, there are not enough words to express how sorry and sad I am for the loss of your friend and for his family and other friends. I prayed for him in earnest. I will continue to pray for his family and friends. A friend I went to school with posted just today how much she hates COVID and the taking of the many lives of some friend’s relatives and of her own relatives. I pray we all can stay safe through these more and more dangerous mutations. And I pray the children like your daughter who have went back to school stay safe as well. God be with you and yours always. Love you all….❤️🙏✝️

God Bless you Capt. Patrick Price, Daymaker Charters. My son caught his first sailfish with you! Rest In Peace my friend.
“I really don’t know why it is that all of us are so committed to the sea, except I think it’s because in addition to the fact that the sea changes, and the light changes, and ships change, it’s because we all came from the sea. And it is an interesting biological fact that all of us have in our veins the exact same percentage of salt in our blood that exists in the ocean, and, therefore, we have salt in our blood, in our sweat, and in our tears.
We are tied to the ocean. And when we go back to the sea, whether it is to sail or to watch it, we are going back from whence we came.”-JFK

“Sad news Captain Patrick Price passed away this afternoon. He was my best friend and like a son to me. He was 42. He fought a good fight but the virus left a lot of damage. He leaves behind a wife and son. Please keep them in your prayers. My world will forever be a little emptier. Thank you everyone”.
