Ottawa woman injured in two-car collision Thursday
OTTAWA — An Ottawa woman was treated for non-life threatening injuries following a two-car traffic accident on Thursday.
Putnam County deputies responded at 4:18 p.m. to an incident at the intersection of county Road L and Road 14-J in Union Township. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Austin Maas, 16, of Ottawa, was northbound on Road 14-J and failed to yield the right-of-way at the intersection of county Road L.
His vehicle struck an auto driven by Jennifer Warnecke, 47, of Ottawa, who was transported to Putnam County Ambulatory Care by the Putnam County EMS for treatment of her injuries. Maas was treated and released at the scene.
The incident remains under investigation.
