The Saraland Police Department has reported investigations are on the way, after two people were reported shot Monday.
Police disclosed officers responded to the North Point Apartments, 205 Shelton Beach Road at about 8:22 p.m. Monday on a report of someone been shot.
On arrival, officers discovered that a number of victims and offenders had already left the scene.
During investigations, detectives found out that two individuals went to Spring Hill Hospital in Mobile for medical care for gunshot injuries are not life threatening.
According to reports, officers initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle leaving the area and the driver of the vehicle declined stopping, and officers chased the vehicle down to Prichard, where the driver and a passenger were taken into custody.
According to reports, the driver is a juvenile and was reportedly arrested on charges of fleeing and attempting to elude.
According to police, the passenger, Marcus Snipes, 19, from Prichard, was also arrested in connection with the shooting on Shelton Beach Road.
Marcus Snipes have been reportedly charged with two counts of first-degree assault, shooting into an occupied dwelling and no pistol permit.
