Peter Hill Death – Obituary – Peter Hill has passed away peacefully on Sunday afternoon 19th of September, 2021.
The cause of his death has not been released to the public.
His demise is made known to the public by “Boyne Island Tannum Sands Cricket Club – BITS” via Facebook;
“It’s with great sadness we announce to our club members and the cricket community that Peter Hill passed away peacefully Sunday afternoon.
Hilly was a champion of community volunteering and over 30 years was a BITS President, Curator, Life Member, and Patron. He was also Gladstone Cricket Incorporated President.
Peter’s Funeral will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday the 29th September at Boyne Island with a wake to follow at the BITS clubhouse. Hilly explicitly requested that an invite is extended to all current and former Cricketers to join his family for a beer or seven!

Another also said, “Well Hilly, looks like stumps got called early this season mate. But just like the end of every summer, we won’t say goodbye, just give a nod to a job well done and see ya in Spring to do it all again. We are going to miss you mate. Forever in our 💚 💛.”
