Jeffrey J. Billingsley Death – Obituary – Jeffrey J. Billingsley, a Denver Fire Department Technician has died while on duty at a hospital on Monday 20th of September 2021.
Jeffrey was reported dead at 42 years after he suffered a cardiac event in the line of duty.
According to the report, Billingsley was rushed to the hospital for treatment after falling ill, but he remained unconscious and was declared dead at about 4 pm on Monday.
The 42-year-old was recognized for the 2004 rescue of three people from a fire. He was also to Fire Station #35 at Denver International Airport. He was also active while off-duty as a member of the Denver Fire Department Pipes and Drums Corps and also a board member on the Denver Fire Department Burn Foundation.
He is survived by his girlfriend Lindsey Foster, his parents John and Margaret Billingsley, his brother Matt, sister Lisa, and nephew Henry.
Fire Chief Desmond Fulton said in a statement, “The entire Denver Fire Department is reeling from this loss, and we extend our thoughts and prayers to the family and friends of our brother who passed away.”
