Jamari Williams Death – Cause of Death – The medical examiner identified a 15-year-old teen as the victim killed by a gunshot on Tuesday afternoon. Jamari was a Sophomore at Simeon and a junior varsity football player.
This incident happened at a place near Simeon Career Academy High School on Chicago’s South Side.
It happened that Jamari Williams, 15, a Simeon football player was standing at Chatham Market shopping center in the 8300 block of South Holland Road, then a vehicle approached.
A person from the shot at Williams, which struck him in the chest. When the officials arrived, the teen was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. He later succumbed to his injuries.
A man identified as Pastor Donovan Price arrived at the scene shortly after the incident said, Jamari had lost his father to a gunshot violent last year.
The Officers are still investigating this case. No suspect has been approached at the time of this report.
