Tragedy struck as a Miller County couple was killed in their home last week. Pam and Dan Stephan have been identified as the victims who were found dead in their Kaiser home on Sep. 8.

A search warrant issued by Miller County investigators reveals what happened to the couple after they hadn’t been heard from in several days, a friend said it was “out of character” for the couple.

The police have found the murder of the couple. The man suspected of killing them was the same man police had been searching for, for weeks, who was also accused of killing a Columbia area woman and her young daughter in August.

Police disclosed that J.T. Mclean the suspect of the case had shot and killed himself in a South Dakota motel parking lot as he was parked inside of a truck he stole from the Stephans.

A list of items taken as evidence from the home included two bullet fragments, a .45 casing, a bullet casing, cell phone, a tablet, and some of the victim’s hair.

A motorcycle was also mentioned, authorities previously said they found behind Stephan’s house that McLean is suspected of ditching. The documents also mention a helmet and a bag found next to the motorcycle.
