A multi-vehicle crash has killed a Birmingham woman and injured four children in Pinson on Monday morning.
According to the Authorities, a woman driving a Buick LaCrosse tried to turn left onto Highway 79 when her car was hit on the driver’s side by a Dodge Challenger.
The 32-year-old Brittany woman identified as Nashae Williams, was confirmed dead at the scene.
The sheriff’s office said “Williams had three children in the car with her at the time of the crash.”
Authorities reported that the driver and a passenger in the Dodge fled the scene on foot, leaving behind a small child inside the car.
The officials stated that the child and the three children in Williams’ car were transported to Children’s of Alabama with undisclosed injuries.
It was also stated that two additional vehicles collided while trying to avoid the original collision, and two other people received medical treatment from medics on the scene.
There is no available information regarding the driver and passenger that fled the scene, at the moment.
