Music journalist Malcolm Dome dead at 66 – cause of death
We are deeply saddened by the death of one of the most respected and best rock and metal journalists, Malcolm Dome. He was a pioneer and rock metal long contributor to Classic Rock, Prog, Metal Hammer and at the age of 66. His career is reportedly traced to the Record Mirror magazine in the late ’70s and Metal Fury in the early ’80s before he joined Kerrang which was launched in 1981.
He was actively seen in Total Rock Radio that was introduced as a rock network in 1997 and was later renamed Total Rock in 2000. He later joined the TeamRock online team as an archive editor, uploaded content from printed publications, and helped to make Louder’s foundation.
According to reports, he authored numerous books regarding bands from AC/DC to led Zeppelin and Metallica, he also co-authored some works with Prog Editor Jerry Ewing.
