Missing Girl Waimanalo – 2 arrested in connection to missing 6-year-old girl case.

Missing Girl Waimanalo – Two people have been arrested in connection to the disappearance of Isabella ‘Ariel’ Kalua.

HONOLULU – Two people was arrested as police continue investigation at the home of missing Waimanalo girl, Isabella Kalua.

The 6-year-old Kalua, aka Ariel Sellers, was reported missing on September 12, at her adoptive parents’ Waimanalo home on Puha Street.

For months the Honolulu Police did not have not enough evidence to point out what happened to her and why there were no answers to how she went missing.

On Wednesday, at around 7:20 a.m. the HPD and Specialized Services Division units moved in on the house with guns drawn and flash bangs.

After going into the home, they brought out the girl’s adoptive mom, Lehua Kalua. She was arrested minutes later.

Isabella’s biological aunt Lana Idao said “Very emotional, very emotional. It’s the beginning, it’s the start for us. It’s hard”.

Police sources say HPD was looking for the adoptive dad at his workplace at Pearl Harbour.

It has not been confirmed if her adoptive dad was the second person arrested in the case as deputies have not released further details.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) are also at the home. The Honolulu police are still investigating and a press conference will be held at a later time.
