Missing Central Pa Woman Body Found – R.I.P Jennifer Herr

Body Found Lancaster County Park – Body found – Death – Obituary – Missing woman’s body found.

According to report a body was discovered on Tuesday evening in the Lancaster County Central Park off Rockford Road in West Lampeter Township.

West Lampeter police said her body was found where her Toyota Prius was found parked earlier in the day.

Police said on Wednesday morning a 57-year-old woman whose family reported her missing out of concern for her welfare was found dead in a Lancaster County park.

The circumstances of Herr’s death remain under investigation on Wednesday. No further information was immediately available.

Manheim Township and West Lampeter Township police thanked the public Wednesday morning for their help finding Herr.

WEST LAMPETER TOWNSHIP, Pa. – Deputies are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of 57-year-old missing woman.

According to report Jennifer Herr, left her home on South President Avenue in Lancaster on Monday.

Herr had last been seen leaving her home Monday on the 100 block of South President Avenue in Manheim Township.

All attempts to contact her have been unsuccessful since then.

Family members said they are concerned for her welfare and her ability to care for herself.

Police said her vehicle was found at Lancaster County Central Park in West Lampeter Township. A search of the park is underway, but Herr hasn’t been found.

Jennifer is described as being a white female, who is 5’7″ tall, weighs 120 pounds, of thin build, has brown/reddish hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing dark or black pants, a black/yellow Millersville University sweatshirt and a knit cap.
