Missing 5 Year-Old Boy – New development in the case of the missing 5 year-old from Mount Prospect, a village in Illinois, in July 2021.

Idaho, UNITED STATES – New Update in the case of Idaho missing boy, Michael Joseph Vaughan who has now been missing for over a month.

Missing 5 year-old Boy:

Michael Joseph Vaughan, 5 year-old who is nick-named ‘Monkey’ was reportedly last seen on foot near SW 9th Street and S Arizona Ave. in Fruitland on Tuesday, July 27th 2021 at about 6:30 pm.

An Endangered/ Missing Child Alert was issued by the Idaho State Police to help find the 5 year-old.

$10,000 Reward for missing 5 year-old Boy:

According to reports, a reward of $10,000 has now been offered to help find Michael Joseph Vaughan the 5 year-old who went missing from Idaho on July 27, 2021.

The reward is made available to anyone who brings information that leads to the safe return of the missing 5 year-old boy. The reward was said to have been donated by an anonymous local resident who was said to have deposited the money in the City’s account.

Fruitland Police Chief JD Huff said “Bringing Michael home continues to be our hope and our priority, This reward fund may motivate someone to call in the lead we’ve been looking for to bring Michael home safely and we’re grateful for the opportunity to do that.”

Missing 5 year-old Boy description:

Michael has been described as a White males who is approximately 3’7″ tall and weighs about 50 pounds. He has short blonde hair and blue eyes.

The last known clothing description has been given as a a light blue shirt with a Minecraft picture on it, dark blue boxer briefs and sandals.

No distinctive features or birth marks has been missing.

Missing 5 year-old Boy search:

A search started an hour later involving law enforcement, Fire, EMS agencies, a St. Luke’s helicopter, drones and a large number of local residents but they were unsuccessful.

Fruitland Chief of Police JD Huff said Idaho Mountain Search and Rescue arrived shortly after and is thoroughly combing the area with their highly trained teams and a tracking K-9. “The Fruitland Police Department would like to extend a sincere thanks to all of our partner first responders and our community for taking the time to help us thoroughly search the area,” Huff said, however, “I am asking citizen searchers to stay out of the area until the professional search crews are finished,” Idaho said.

Family of missing 5 year-old Boy speaks:

The family of Michael has been quiet since he went missing for over a month now.

They expressed their sadness as they say their “family is broken” and it has been a hard past month for them. However they are keeping hopes alive.
