MINNEAPOLIS POLICE OFFICER CHARGED FOR KILLING UNCLE OF TEEN WHO RECORDED GEORGE FLOYD’S DEATH
Minneapolis Police Officer Killed Darnella Frazier’s Uncle in Car Crash
“Police are supposed to protect and serve citizens, and to act in a manner consistent with their sworn oath to do so, Officer Cummings’ actions deviated from his oath and his negligence caused the death of Leneal Frazier. The cop’s sirens and lights were on. However, he was driving well beyond the residential speed limit of 25 mph. He chased a vehicle for over 20 blocks, but failed to watch out for bystanders.” said Mike Freeman, Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman, in a statement.
according to reports, Minneapolis police officer Brian Cummings would be facing charges after an innocent bystander was killed in a car crash in July. Leneal Frazier, who fortunately is an uncle to the teen who recorded George Floyd’s murder, passed away following the fatal car crash. He was 40 years old. He has also been charged with second-degree manslaughter and vehicular homicide, according to the court.
