“You know those moments when you don’t know what to say or do because something so unexpected happens. Well that’s where I am right now… A family that is so near and dear to me lost their leader yesterday. While I didn’t know Mr. Mike very well, his wife Kim Pettis is like another mother to me and his daughter Lacy Layton is my beloved twin. My heart is hurting for their family right now and I ask that you all lift them up in prayer as they navigate this tragedy. Love you both and know that I’m here for you no matter what you might need! RIP Mr. Mike”.
