Las Vegas Metro Police have made an arrest in the homicide investigation of a shooting that occurred in Spring Valley Friday night.44-year-old Antoine Cloutier, was arrested and booked on one count of open murder.

LVMPD received a report of a man who was shot at a residence on Montcliff Avenue, near Rainbow Boulevard and Twain Avenue on September 10 at 9:16 p.m.,

Responding officers located the victim in the driveway suffering from a gunshot wound, according to police.

The yet to be identified victim was transported to UMC Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The investigation led by the LVMPD Homicide Section indicates the victim lived at the residence and was subleasing to Antoine Cloutier, 44.

The victim and Cloutier got into an altercation after Cloutier was asked to move out, which led to a physical fight, during which police says Cloutier produced a firearm and shot the victim.

Cloutier fled the scene prior to the arrival of the officers, according to the report by Metro police.

Cloutier was located and taken into custody without incident on September 11 at exactly 4:00 a.m.

He was booked into CCDC on one count of open murder.
