Friends, Associates and family reacts to Melissa’s death on social media..
Richs Autobody posted,” We lost our Mel-z Melissa Crompton this July 4th weekend. What do you write to the world..and tell everyone you’ve lost your big sister? We spent years together racing cars when we were younger, the road trips, families and friends we’ve made together, the boyfriends and girlfriends we were so excited to get together at Kelly’s Tavern for drinks and introduce each others new exciting relationship and adventure that could be our next “in law” lol We always talked about our best vacation together. We just happened to be in between jobs a few years back and both had the week off. We spent the entire week together. We rode our bikes, went for food and went kayaking at the Manasquan Reservoir. It was our best time! The last photo she sent me was of a fishing boat at the reservoir after she rode her bicycle all the way there from Bradley Beach on Saturday. She texted me… “Rode to the reservoir looks like you from a distance :)” God I wish I was with her at that moment…”
Cassandra Mesce-Quarantello tweeted, ” This past week the Nourished by Nature family lost a very special soul . Our manager of over 4 years Melissa Crompton, tragically and unexpectedly passed away . This news has been an extreme shock to us all here as well as all of our customers that have known and loved her over the years . I’m not sure we will ever recover . How can I even put into words the type of person she was . Melissa was as many would describe , full of life and a beam of light . She always came to work with a positive attitude and a smile on her face regardless of what she was going through in her personal life. She was full of energy , a hard worker , a loyal employee and friend ( which is hard to come by ) and just a compassionate loving person . Her phrase would be “ let it go “ ! She lives in the moment . The customers Loved her and would ask for her personally . She just wanted everyone happy..”
