Syracuse Police have identified Matthew Kneer and Christine Olmsted, both 50 as the two people killed a tragic motor vehicle accident that occurred Wednesday, September 15, 2021 on Malden Road.
According to report, Kneer and Christine were travelling west on on Malden Road when their van veered off the right side of the road The van crashed through a perimeter fence of Syracuse Hancock Airport and then hit the side of a fuel tank in Mattydale

A Signature Air employee found the vehicle and called an ambulance.
Following Christine death, she has been described as “wonderful and caring person”
According to a GoFundMe account created to cater for Christine funeral funeral expenses, Christine is a mother of two girls.
“Hello, as everyone may already know Christine was in a fatal car accident Wednesday morning. This is a shock to everyone. Christine’s girls Lindsey and Karley are left without a mother. That is something no one wants to be dealt. Lindsey just started college and Karley is to graduate high school this year. Please help these girls lay their mother to rest. Lindsey being 18, she is Christine’s next to kin. Leaving her in charge of handling arrangements. No 18 year old is prepared for that. These girls have a strong support system & I will help them every step of the way, but financially we need your help”
Investigation into the cause of the crash is still ongoing.
